how do I make 5 minute animation in 1 day

I got an idea to put on a video of a black screen on my tablet to see if the flickering would go away.

it actually worked

Theres virtually no more flickering, which means I can finally animate again! Yay

I left my monitor for five minutes and it flashed epilepsy on my screen again. I restarted it and now it’s BURNED INTO THE DISPLAY ON THE MONITOR. It’s so distracting I can’t get any work done. Does anyone know how to fix it?? I’m using a Gaomon PD2200.

I was working on the New Year’s animation, but Windows decided to be funny so it pulled epilepsy on me again just like with the birthday animation. This time it decided to go even further by corrupting the file! So my nearly finished animation?

I gotta start from scratch all over again. So including today, I got five days to reanimate everything.

I’m not even gonna work on it again tonight. I don’t care. I’ll work on it again first thing I wake up.

I have the script for new year 2025 down and I’m gonna start voice acting and animation tomorrow. I’d start it today but I’m dead tired. All those dr peppers in a glass bottle with cane sugar really got to me.

I’m going away on the 28th, so I’d only have about 11 days, give or take to work on it. I know it might seem impossible, but then again, I already went through this before. I started and completed new year 2024 in about 5 days? I think I can’t remember. But if I can complete seven minutes worth of animation in less than week, I can complete a similar amount in a little over a week.

I don’t wanna give anything away about my plans, all I’ll say is that it’s the last of a trilogy, starting with new year 2023.

I also wanted to mention that a few days ago, someone commented on a previous post, “You know you don’t have to do these every year.” And I’m gonna explain why I do these every year.

First is because it gives me something to do. I like being able to work on it every December because it guarantees I put out an animation every year (the birthday videos don’t have much animation in them anyway)

Second is because I always have a good time writing them. Part of the reason I cancelled something like “There Is She Stomp 3” is not only because I don’t feel comfortable making it, I just didn’t have a fun time writing the second one.

Everything about it was a drag, and I forced myself to keep working on it. That’s why it feels so off to me, every time I watch it, I always feel a looming sense of dread. Whereas, whenever I watch the first three new years animations, the only thing I feel is pain (most, if not all of it being due to my voice though)

And third is because I just like it. Don’t know what else to say there, I just like making lore I guess lol

I did not expect this post to be so long, oops. Ok I’m gonna go to bed now my eye bags are so dark it makes me look like FDR (I haven’t gotten 8 hours of sleep since 5th grade)

I genuinely did not expect my birthday animation to do so well, I’m shocked. It is my second highest rated movie on here (sadly behind Movie Midiacs, although both suck) and got 100 views on YouTube in a day. It genuinely made my week. Scratch that, it made my month.

I think I’m gonna have to animate some more. Let me know what you’d like to see me do next!

Today is my birthday! I’m turning 16, which means I can finally get a job and drive!

everyone i have great news! i found out that as long as im playing sound on my computer, it doesnt do the flashing color thing anymore! i actually got work done! 30 seconds left of animation to do! cant wait until im done so i can get a good nights rest for my birthday! anyways im gonna go back to animating now (also im gonna be posting a lot more often since im so happy right now. i found the spark again)

Here’s an update on the birthday animation

it may have took several all nighters and sleepy mornings in school but it’s going along ok! I have to restart my pc every 15 minutes or so because of these STUPID FLASHINGNLIGJTS but other than that it’s going really well! I’m finding the joy in animation again!! yayyyyfogdlsh soyglgls tlhsh

I was working on it earlier but my computer decided to crash once again, so I’m going to go to bed now. I have to get up in 4 hours! Thankfully I have a liter of mug root beer so I should be fine, however it will not be fun.

Progress is going along great. It will definitely be finished and ready to upload on the 8th (this sunday!). I think I might finish it early if I’m lucky enough! So that’s that. I have nothing else to say, so I’m gonna go to bed now. Goodnight
