I’m gonna upload a video on YouTube in a few days discussing my return and plans for the upcoming

year.

So I contacted Tom about this, and he made me eligible for re-scouting again. I still don’t know what happened, but oh well. Since this is the day before the deadline, I don’t expect to be signing up for the secret santa, which kinda sucks, but what can I do about it. Oh well. ( I’ve said that twice) I think I’m gonna try to improve my art going forward. I think that was why I was unscouted.

I logged onto newgrounds today to sign up for the Secret Santa, but it says it’s only for scouted users. I know I was a scouted user, but it told me I wasn’t.

I don’t know if it’s a glitch, or if I was banned. If Tom or any admin sees this, could you please tell me the issue? If I was banned, (in which case I don’t know the reason) what could I do to make sure I don’t make the same mistake again? I don’t mean any malice, just genuinely confused.

I’ve been happier lately doing what I love, which is animating, buts it’s been harder and harder to do. Let me specify;

It is not that it’s harder to animate. Recently. I’ve been having the most fun animating since 2021. It’s just that it’s harder and harder to start. You guys got any tips on how to not only stop procrastinating and actually animate, but also how to not let your mind wander while doing it?

Here’s what I mean by that;

Sometimes people ask me how it’s like to animate. I tell them I wake up around 9 or 10 am, get up from bed, open a green tea, and start animating for an hour. You make good progress. And then you leave your room, eat a snack for an hour while watching YouTube, think about guitar instead, play that guitar, and now it’s 9 pm. It is a Saturday, but now you’re watching videos analyzing weezer, and now it’s 2 am, and you go to bed. When you wake up, you forgot to turn the stream off, and now, live on your channel is a 24 hour live stream with 95 percent of it on one screen while you were foolish enough to forget that you were animating in the first place.

i’ve been working on a little animation on and off over fall break. it isn’t very long, in fact it’s less than a minute long, but it’s a sequel to one of my older animations back in 2020. i think it’s a good way to make myself get back into animation.

While I am a little upsetti spaghetti they credited my twitter instead of my YouTube channel, it is still pretty cool I’m apart of this.

And for anyone at school, I will be going to CalArts for my underwater basket weaving certificate!!
