I logged onto newgrounds today to sign up for the Secret Santa, but it says it’s only for scouted users. I know I was a scouted user, but it told me I wasn’t.

I don’t know if it’s a glitch, or if I was banned. If Tom or any admin sees this, could you please tell me the issue? If I was banned, (in which case I don’t know the reason) what could I do to make sure I don’t make the same mistake again? I don’t mean any malice, just genuinely confused.

I’ve been happier lately doing what I love, which is animating, buts it’s been harder and harder to do. Let me specify;

It is not that it’s harder to animate. Recently. I’ve been having the most fun animating since 2021. It’s just that it’s harder and harder to start. You guys got any tips on how to not only stop procrastinating and actually animate, but also how to not let your mind wander while doing it?

Here’s what I mean by that;

Sometimes people ask me how it’s like to animate. I tell them I wake up around 9 or 10 am, get up from bed, open a green tea, and start animating for an hour. You make good progress. And then you leave your room, eat a snack for an hour while watching YouTube, think about guitar instead, play that guitar, and now it’s 9 pm. It is a Saturday, but now you’re watching videos analyzing weezer, and now it’s 2 am, and you go to bed. When you wake up, you forgot to turn the stream off, and now, live on your channel is a 24 hour live stream with 95 percent of it on one screen while you were foolish enough to forget that you were animating in the first place.

i’ve been working on a little animation on and off over fall break. it isn’t very long, in fact it’s less than a minute long, but it’s a sequel to one of my older animations back in 2020. i think it’s a good way to make myself get back into animation.

to answer your first question, i have been too lazy to give a shit about animating and i forgot how to draw, elt alone animate. i wish i was special. i really do.

and your second question, ive been working on it for the past year. by working on it not even the first thirty seconds are done. i just do not enjoy animating on a tablet. i prefer animating on my ipad. ive also stopped enjoying animating as much when i was 11/12. a lot has changed, including someone named ryan. i guess what im trying to say us that i dont find it fun anymore. i dont wanna quit, but i cant animate for more than five minutes before going on youtube for a few hours. so yeah.

im still alive, so thats something.

im also working on developing a new series. nothing like the daily kids or related. something completely different entirely. its an isekai? show and i dont wanna give away too much. as you've seen, ive rededigned my banner and you've seen characters youve never seen before. its called "Plateaue" and thats all i wanna say. keep in mind i will keep this idea in cold storage for LONG time. likely a decade. mqaybe even more.
